i think i watch too much tv and Tivo is the cause. when i was in Manila, i hardly watched any tv because i didn't know the schedules. i didn't make any effort to find out because i knew my Tivo would be recording
Inuyasha and
Project Runway. instead, i spent most nights (and days, while sitting in traffic) re-reading my old books. i must have re-read close to 20 books during my two week stay. i wanted to continue that trend when i got home but i've been sidetracked by the aforementioned contraption, some contruction on our apartment's entranceway, and jet lag.
to restart the process, i do have a book i want to read. Piers Anthony's
And Eternity is the last book of the Incarnations of Immortality series. one that wasn't available nine years ago in Manila. i also have a stack of books from our laundry room "libarary" that i have been meaning to read. obviously, most of these are of middling interest to me, but one of them i've started to read: Clive Barker's
Everville. never been a big fan of his (books or movies) so this book is just plodding along. but i struggle on because i need to get into the reading bug.
